- Kodansha first announced plans to throw the Anime Finale Commemoration “Attack on Titan” Worldwide After Party for four days to mark the 10th anniversary of the TV anime broadcast and end of Attack on Titan, which was serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. However, due to the overwhelming positive response from attendees, Kodansha has decided to greatly extend the event’s duration.
- The Worldwide After Party was supposed to run from November 5 to 8, with content available from November 9 to 20. However, all of the information is now available until the end of November. The Anime Finale Commemoration “Attack on Titan” Worldwide After Party Month will address feedback such as “There’s too much content to finish” and “I’d like to savor the content at a more leisurely pace” by allowing fans from all over the world to enjoy it at any time until the end of November.
What is the Anime Finale Commemoration “Attack on Titan” Worldwide After Party?
The last season of the TV anime Attack on Titan completed successfully on November 4, marking the end of a journey that began in 2013.
This event, the first of its type in anime history, invited fans who had supported Attack on Titan to celebrate the series’ finale aboard an online cruise ship alongside the production crew and cast. Approximately 3,000 real-time players joined the inaugural celebration immediately after the final program aired, contributing approximately 30,000 comments. On the second day, around 24,000 messages were sent to the characters. The event has been enormously popular, with a steady increase in the number of participants.
