Forza Horizon 5 Season Alternate: Morgan Freeze, Guy
The latest cold spell in Forza Horizon 5’s month-long freeze has begun. We are now in the second week of Winter Wonderland.
In Series 28, if you’re still keeping track, the weather changes in a strange way. For the first time, one season covers the whole four-week game. Of course, that’s winter.
This month, there are a lot of changes that can be seen. The Horizon Stadium is also getting an update. The Winter Wonderland Stadium, which is named after the TV show, has a very Christmassy feel to it, with snow, trees, and even a stable. There is also a small, complicated race track inside the stadium.
The track will be back in other winter games in the future, along with its other winter features like an ice rink and a toboggan run.
Secret Santa is also back for a third year. To get benefits for the whole community, players are encouraged to send gifts for vehicles through the Winter Wonderland location. The first gift, a Gordon Murray Automotive T.50, has already been given out. The last prize, which isn’t really a secret, should be coming soon.
Another thing you can get this month are four new cars and an Evolving World Accolade for gathering them. There’s also a new paid DLC pack called “Fast X” that adds cars from the Fast and Furious movie series.
Table of Contents
Series 28: Winter Wonderland
The two Series rewards are cars we’ve seen in other sets, but they are both worth the work. All four of the new cars are season rewards.
If you get 80 points, which you could do in the first winter season, you can add the Porsche Mission R concept to your car.
In Series 20, this all-electric race car was a holiday bonus. It’s Porsche’s idea of what a future, one-make Porsche race series could look like when liquid fuels are no longer used.
Because of this, it’s meant to be as fast on a racetrack as a 992 GT3 Cup car. It has a 40:60 split all-wheel drive system that makes 1073hp.
The 2011 Koenigsegg Agera, which was a prize in Series 13, can be yours for 160 points, which isn’t quite possible this week.
At “just” 250mph, the Agera isn’t one of Koenigsegg’s fastest cars, but it served as the base for some of its crazier cars, like the record-breaking Agera RS.
Series 28 Winter/Dry Season Rewards
The Morgan Aero GT, a special version of the Aero 8 made in very small numbers (only eight units), comes in at 20th place in this series.
The Aero GT is loosely based on the company’s GT3 car—yes, this thing did go GT3 racing and, even more impressively, won.” It has many aerodynamic changes that make it different from the regular 8.
The lightweight Morgan had a V8 engine that came from BMW and made almost 400hp. It also had adjustable suspension and a pretty nice cabin.
This is your second chance at 40 points to get one of the race cars in the game. It’s the Lynk&Co 03 #100.
The 03 was almost a perfect TCR machine. It won three WTCR makers’ titles and two drivers’ titles in three seasons before it was taken out of service in 2022 because several of its tires failed.
Third Winter will last until Thursday, January 4, at 3:30 a.m. UTC. It will end on December 21. There will be two more Winter seasons after that.
Series 28 Winter Playlist: Forzathon Events
The BAC Mono, which only has one seat, is this week’s Forzathon Weekly Challenge car. It’s not at all suitable for winter driving. You can buy and drive Liverpool’s supercar this week in the Forzathon Shop if you don’t already have one. This will start Welcome BAC.
In this week’s event, you’ll be doing everything a Mono owner should do. First, get out of the car and speed up. To move forward, you need to earn five “Great Speed” Skills. Reaching close to 160mph will earn you one.
After that, go out and win a race in the Road Racing Series. Make sure it’s a circle race; point-to-point races don’t count.
Last but not least, all you have to do is take a picture of the Mono. For the Monday Daily Challenge, you might want to wait and take a picture of your model outside the car to kill two birds with one stone.
If you finish that, you’ll get five Playlist points and 80 Forzathon points. If you own the Casa Solariega player house, the FP will be doubled.
Weekly Challenge: Welcome BAC
- Car: BAC Mono ’14
- Chapter 1: Own and drive the BAC Mono
- Chapter 2: Earn five Great Speed Skills in the Mono
- Chapter 3: Win any Road Racing circuit race in the Mono
- Chapter 4: Take a photo of the Mono
- Reward: 5 points, 80FP
This week, more Daily Challenges with winter themes will be added. One will be added every day at 14:30UTC, and you have seven days to finish each one for one point.
Do You Give Gifts, Bro? That’s one more reason to go to Winter Wonderland and send a Secret Santa gift to someone else. Could you wait until Tuesday?
To get past North Polestar, you’ll need to get at least two Stars at the Northern Passage Speed Trap in a Volvo V60 Polestar.
Finish any Horizon Arcade theme in the 2002 Mazda RX-7 Spirit R to get into the Christmas spirit. The themes are Air, Chaos, Drift, Speed, and Wreckage.
Go back to the Stadium and hit a Snowman in the 1974 Holden Sandman to get the Skill to Enter Snowman. Go there on Tuesday if you want to get things done…
Next, finish Let Me Take an Elfie by taking a picture of any car with your character standing outside of it.
On Tuesday, you’ll be singing so loud that everyone can hear you. This event is back at the Stadium, and you only need to honk your horn three times, which is why the above advice was given…
Finally, get an Acura or Honda with a Hard Charger Skill that lets you speed up for ten seconds straight to show that VTEC Just Kicked In, Yo!

Series 28 Winter Playlist: Season Events
This week, the single-player events list is very cube-shaped, with three events of three different types. There are three four-event labs, three seasonal championships, and three PR stunts.
All three EventLabs are long custom paths that go around places in the east of the map and have races against a small group of AI. Then you’ll have to win the races to get the three points and the extra prize each time.
Custom race track GP Gotya Full is based on Los Jardines and works with S2 Class (901-998PI) Extreme Track Toys. It comes with a Holiday Tree Outfit as a bonus. For an S1 Class (801–900PI) race in Modern Supercars, the Laderas Grand Prix uses widened roads around the Stadium. If you run off the new asphalt, it can be hard to get back on the road. The Ninja Marv Muddy Mangos race is on dirt and is open to A Class (701-800PI) Modern Rally and Rally Monster cars. The winner gets a Super Wheelspin.
This week, all three PR Stunts need a different vehicle. They are all pretty easy, even with regular cars, and each one gives you two points and a Super Wheelspin.
The Chevrolet Nova is a C Class (501-600PI) for the Pyramid of the Sun Speed Trap. The goal speed is 100 mph, which shouldn’t be too hard to reach if you go off-road instead of on the roads. For the Las Curvas Drift Zone, you’ll need a B Class (601-700PI) Nissan Fairlady Z ’94. The 80,000pt goal is pretty easy to reach. Finally, get an A Class (701-800PI) Ford Focus RS to average 90 mph in the Ladera Speed Zone.
As you might expect, each of the three Seasonal Championships is made up of three races against Highly Skilled AI and is worth five points. To win the points and bonus prize at the end of the tournament, you’ll need to be at the top of the points table.
In Dish the Dirt, you can go off-road in B Class (601–700PI) Retro Muscle cars (AWD swaps will help!). This will earn you a 1995 Chevrolet Corvette. Anyone with a Mazda MX-5 can enter the B Class (601–700PI) street race in How much is the Miata? There is a Mazda RX-7 Spirit R as a bonus prize. Finally, if you win the An Oldie But a Goodie road race in any A Class (701–800PI) Classic Racers, you’ll get a Lola T70.

This week there is only one multiplayer game. To play on console, you need an Xbox Core subscription, but it’s free to play on PC.
That is, of course, The Trial, which is always on the Playlist. It’s a best-of-three-race series where you and up to five other people race against six “unbeatable” AI. If you haven’t done one yet, you should.
You want to get more team points than the AI. The word “team” is very important here. Each player on each team gets 100 points for every opponent they beat, but not for beating a teammate.
It doesn’t help anyone to win by yourself; you need to work together to make sure the best outcome for all people by blocking AI so players can pass. Most of the time, getting the top two spots or any three of the top four spots will be enough to win the whole thing, unless there’s a lower-order disaster.
This week’s racing should be pretty safe because it’s a road race challenge for A Class (701–800PI) cars. For the races, you’ll need a car from the custom “Homologation Heroes” hopper. These are limited-run road cars that are used as the base for race cars. It should be easy to win inside two.
Everyone who wins gets ten points and a Mercedes-AMG GT R.
The Trial: We Could Be Heroes
- Car: A Class, “Homologation Heroes”
- Location: Estadio Horizon
- Challenge: Win the Championship
- Reward: 10 points, Mercedes-AMG GT R
Series 28 Winter Playlist: Challenges
This week there are three Challenges: The Eliminator is back, there is a new Collectibles event, and the Photo Challenge is always there.
To play The Eliminator on a computer, you’ll need Xbox Core, but it’s a normal event. That means getting at least 30th in any round of The Eliminator. Just making it through a couple of minutes is usually enough to get two points and a “I Am Become Meme” Forza LINK welcome.
The Snowman is back for the Collectibles show. It’s not on top of the volcano this time, though. It’s inside the Winter Wonderland stadium. You can find and smash ten to get three points and a Sad Snowman Head. If you do this in a Holden Sandman after 14:30 UTC on Sunday, you’ll also get a Daily Challenge point.
For this week’s #StormInATeacup photo challenge, you’ll need to think outside the box. First, you need to get a car with a “stormy” name. A GMC Typhoon is used as an example, but we used a Lamborghini Huracan. Next, you need to take that car to the “secret” cave at Ek’Balam. Drive south-west to the south-west corner of the solid dirt road that is east of the spot where you want to find it.
Take a picture when you’re in the right place with the right car to get two points and a Holiday Jumper.
Collectibles: Snowman Smash!

Series 28 Winter Playlist: Monthly Events
You can do the two Monthly Events during the whole Series. Each one is worth four points, or one point per Season, and you can do them within 28 days to get paid.
You don’t have to keep track of lap times like you do in Rivals games, but you will be “chasing” a ghost. Your goal should be to finish a clean run of the courses using the cars that are given to you. To do this, just stay away from solid objects, hit your checkpoints, and don’t use the Rewind button.
That’s not always simple. Even though the new Subaru BRZ is a nice car to drive, the Marigold Sprint point-to-point route, which was added last Series, gives you a lot of chances to mess up. That’s not true for the Dodge Charger Fast X, which is a sneak peek at the DLC pack. Also, the Winter Wonderland Circuit is a pretty tight track for a car that likes to get lost…
Monthly Rivals: Marigold Sprint
- Cars: Subaru BRZ ’22 (provided)
- Location: Costa Rocosa
- Challenge: Post a Clean Lap
- Reward: 4 points (1 added to each season)
Monthly Rivals: Winter Wonderland Circuit
- Cars: Dodge Charger Fast X (provided)
- Location: Estadio Horizon
- Challenge: Post a Clean Time
- Reward: 4 points (1 added to each season)
Series 28 Winter Bonus DLC Events
As always, players who own the DLC expansions can get up to 14 bonus points, seven in each place. They’re not necessary to finish, but they are a good way to get extra points for your weekly goals.
Every place has a PR Stunt and a Seasonal Championship. The PR Stunt is worth two points and the Seasonal Championship is worth five points. There is also a bonus prize for each event.
Like the stunts on the main map, the PR Stunts need certain cars, but unlike the ones in Mexico, you’ll need to tune them up.
To reach the 315m goal for the Forest Leap Danger Sign in Hot Wheels, you need about as fast of a speed as an A Class (701-800PI) Honda NSX-R ’92 can offer. On the other hand, the 120mph goal at the Canyon Rush Speed Trap in Rally Adventure is too fast for a standard car’s gearing…
Like the main map, the Seasonal Championships are made up of three races against Highly Skilled AI. The winner gets five points and an extra car.
For Hot Wheels’ Hyped for the Holidays, you’ll need an S2 Class (901-998PI) Hypercar. As a prize, you can get a Mercedes-Benz SLK. For the Rap-Tor Battle in Rally Adventure, you need any B Class (601–700PI) Ford Raptor model. The winner gets a 2012 Porsche 911 GT2 RS.
Hot Wheels Danger Sign: Forest Leap
- Car: A Class, Honda NSX-R ’92
- Location: Hot Wheels Forest Falls
- Challenge: 315m
- Reward: 2 points, Super Wheelspin

Series 28 Winter Forzathon Shop
This week’s Forzathon Shop has two very different versions of the little-known British racecar with a mid-mounted engine.
This is the 2019 Aston Martin Valhalla Concept, which is in front of the store. It’s a baby Valkyrie that hasn’t even been shown in FH5 yet…
The production model and PG’s pre-launch description of it are different from the Valhalla Concept, which is actually the original AM-RB 003. It has a hybrid, KERS-boosted, three-liter V6 twin turbo and aero tech from the Valkyrie.
The BAC Mono has only a third of the power of the Valhalla, but it has a different way of going very fast around a track.
Because they are light, you can put three Monos on the other side of the scales next to one Valhalla and have the weights be about the same.
After being shown for 1,150,000cr, the Valhalla Concept isn’t a bad deal at 600FP. The Mono, on the other hand, isn’t in the Autoshow at all, so at 350FP, it makes sense.
The Snowman Outfit, the Happy Snowman Head, and the Deck the Halls Horn are some other things in the store this week. Each costs 75FP. The Wheelspin (60FP) and Super Wheelspin (150FP) are where they belong.
