Gran Turismo 7 Michelin Time Trial Problem Gives Global Sequence Ultimate VIP Commute
Through a special time trial in Gran Turismo 7, Michelin, the official tire of the championship, is giving you a ticket to the Gran Turismo World Series in Barcelona.
The competition will take place in Sport Mode’s Time Trial area, but don’t worry if you don’t have a PlayStation Plus membership—time trials aren’t multiplayer events because they don’t feature actual human competitors, so Plus isn’t necessary.
But first, you must finish Menu Book 9 (“Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade”) in the GT Cafe single-player hub in order to access Sport Mode. You will, however, have access to the event once you’ve completed this.
You must use the Porsche 918 Spyder ’13 to record the best time possible around Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta for this specific event. The vehicle is given for the occasion, sporting a stylish custom livery with Michelin logo and shod with Sport Medium tires.
One overall winner will earn the primary prize of a trip to the Gran Turismo World Series World Final in Barcelona this December, while all participants who participate and set a time in the competition will receive the car as a bonus prize. With flights, transfers, a hotel stay, and meals paid for, they and one guest will be able to witness the event firsthand.
For those who experience a daylight savings time shift during this time, be aware that you will gain or lose an hour between those dates! The event will last ten days, beginning at 0001 UTC on Thursday, October 19, and ending at 2359 UTC on Sunday, October 29.
You must be a resident of one of the countries that are eligible for the GT World Series competition itself and be 18 years of age or older to be eligible to claim the grand prize (players from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE must be 21 years of age or older).
