Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Demanding situations: Taking Credit score
The third week of Gran Turismo 7’s new Weekly Challenges has arrived, with players tasked with completing a fresh set of five challenges once the clock strikes midnight in their zone.
Weekly Challenges were introduced in the most recent Spec II update as a specific, selected selection of events from those previously available in the World Circuits menus — and potentially beyond, as we saw in week one — that award players bonuses for completing them each week.
That means you’ll need to finish third or better in each event during their time in the Weekly Challenge rotation, whether you’ve already finished them in normal gaming or not, and there’s a new incentive for those who haven’t already done so.
In addition to winning rewards for the races itself, there are bonus rewards delivered to your garage as ticket Gifts for completing one, three, or all five events throughout the seven-day window.
The Japanese FF Challenge 450 in Tsukuba kicks off the events for those who prefer things slow. Despite the designation, the 450PP aim is merely advisory, and you’ll require a front-engined, front-wheel-drive Japanese automobile. It’s a five-lap race with a prize of 7,000cr for the winner.
This is in addition to this week’s long race at the neighboring Suzuka Circuit. It’s part of the new World Touring Car 900 event included in the Spec II update, and because it’s also in the Bonus Menu Book selection, you might need to have begun Book 48 to view it. It’s open to any automobile with up to 900PP, and the winner takes home a cool 170,000cr.
This week, Europe only has one race, with the Schwarzwald League series taking place at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. For this five-lap race, you’ll need a German car with up to 700PP, and the winner will receive 88,000cr.
The new Lake Louise snow circuit maintains its perfect record of appearing in Weekly Challenges, leaving two events in the Americas. This week’s World Rally Challenge is for Gr.B category cars and, of course, Snow Tires are required. If you win the four-lap race around the Long Track, you’ll receive 85,000cr.
The American Sunday Cup 600 will feature a three-lap race at Big Willow before the final race at Willow Springs. For the relatively small 15,000cr prize pool, any American car up to 600PP is eligible.
This week’s incentives are all monetary. Completing one event wins you a 100,000cr ticket, while completing three events earns you a 150,000cr ticket. Clear the lot and you’ll receive a 500,000cr ticket, making the list worth over 1.3 million credits if you win everything with a Clean Race Bonus.
The Weekly Challenges are updated every Wednesday evening/Thursday morning at midnight local time, with the next set due at that time on November 22/23. To gain access, you must have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and seen the final movie.
